Job Summary

L3 Wintel Engineer: Key Responsibilities: Provide L3 support for Microsoft Windows Server environments and related infrastructure. Manage and troubleshoot VMware virtualized workloads. Support NVIDIA DLS license Management and vGPU provisioning via VMware Infrastructure. Support Omnissa Horizon VDI Management with NVIDIA vGPU for Students and Researchers. Perform system administration, patch management, and security remediation. Support MS SQL Server Cluster administration and integration with enterprise applications. Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell or VBScript. Work with enterprise management tools (e.g., SCCM) for configuration and deployment. Contribute to DevOps initiatives, including automated deployments, configuration-as-code, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with Linux, Cloud, and Security teams to enhance reliability and automation. Candidate Profile: 6–10 years of experience supporting Windows Server environments. Strong skills in VMware, Active Directory, Group Policy, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS). Deep understanding of different types of clusters (VMware, Windows, SQL) Experience with SQL administration and automation (PowerShell, VBScript). Hands-on experience with SCCM or equivalent enterprise management tools. Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Terraform, etc.) preferred. Understanding of hardware infrastructure and Data center operations. Good understanding of IT security, compliance, and process governance. Windows Server Knowledge Active Directory (Group Policy) SCCM Patching VMware vCenter, Esxi and VM and Physical Esxi VMware Horizon VDI, UAG, Connection Servers, Enrolment Server File and Print Server. Physical Blade and Rack Server Windows Server installation and configuration: One of the primary responsibilities is the installation and configuration of Windows servers. This includes setting up hardware and software, establishing and managing user accounts, and ensuring the servers are integrated with existing network sysems Monitoring and maintenance: Windows Server Administrators implement and manage security protocols such as InsightVM, Splunk, Cortex Security management: Administrators are responsible for establishing and managing backup procedures and recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability in case of system failures or disasters. Backup and recovery issues: When issues arise, whether they\'re software glitches, hardware malfunctions, or user errors, Administrators must troubleshoot and resolve these problems quickly to minimize downtime and disruption. Vulnerability management : Remediation Plan, Coordination with application owner to manage downtime and remediation. Shared Drive: Permission management, Folder Creation, Deletion, File transfer from one server to another server along with permission. Print Server: RightFax Print server only Managed. Windows OS Troubleshooting: SCCM: Patching Windows Servers from SCCM, Patch Management, Deployment and Complaince VMware vCenter: involved in the research, installation, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of vCenter, Esxi, HA, DRS, Datastore, vSwitch, Networking etc Troubleshooting ESX issues related to storage, network and performance issues Horizon VDI: VDI Horizon Administrator is responsible for the management and operation of the VMware Horizon Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). This role involves ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems that support core organizational functions. Including UAG, Connection Servers, Enrollment Servers and Desktop Depoyment, Golden Image.
