Small Engine Mechanic

Company Overview

We are looking for a dependable and experienced Lawn \& Small Engine Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining lawn equipment and small engines.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair lawnmowers and small-engine equipment
• Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups
• Troubleshoot fuel, electrical, ignition, and engine problems
• Repair or replace engines, carburetors, belts, blades, batteries, and other components
• Assemble and prepare new equipment for customers
• Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Provide professional and courteous customer service when needed
• Keep accurate records of repairs and parts used

Qualifications

• Previous experience repairing lawnmowers or small engines preferred
• Knowledge of gas-powered and/or battery-powered lawn equipment
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Small engine certification is a plus, but not required

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
