Role: Commercial Construction Site Superintendent
Location/ Shift Pattern – Site - 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off
Work Contract: Site – Full Time
PBN Construction is a northern Saskatchewan Aboriginal owned and operated company founded in 2007 that services mine sites and crown corporations all over Saskatchewan. We are a fast paced and fulfilling company that is seeking a detail orientated and experienced Site Superintendent to join our Construction Department.
Logistics
This position follows a 2-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off rotation. Employees will fly to and from site at no cost to them , with meals and accommodations fully provided during their rotation. This schedule allows for extended time off while ensuring comfort and convenience while on site.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Superintendent is a key figure in our construction team. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at the job site as well as ensuring the work progresses smoothly, safely and on schedule.
Summary of the duties
Provide support for estimation and project planning for future projects
Maintain project execution, contract requirements, project specifications, scope of work
Ensure project/site adherence to OH&S regulations, company policies, industry standards, client policies/specifications, Site Specific Project Safety Plans.
Provide site supervision to the crews ensuring that work is completed safety, correctly and on time
Required
Valid Journeyman Carpenter Certification or worked in the Carpentry Field greater then 6 years
Must have previous supervision experience
Technical/Computer skills will be required
Training Requirements not limited to: SCOT/WHIMIS, Supervisor Training, First Aid
