Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and DOSH regulations.
- Monitor site activities to ensure safe work practices are followed at all times.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings for site workers and subcontractors.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly safety reports to management.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; provide corrective action recommendations.
- Ensure all workers are equipped with and properly using PPE.
- Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation required for audits and inspections.
- Assist in emergency response planning and drills.
- Liaise with project managers, site engineers, and authorities on safety matters.
- Support safety training and awareness programs on site.
Job Requirements:
- Certificate / Diploma in Occupational Safety \& Health or related field.
- Must possess valid Yellow Book / Green Book (JKKP/DOSH registration preferred or required depending on project).
- At least 3 years of experience in construction site safety supervision.
- Good knowledge of OSHA 1994 and related Malaysian safety regulations.
- Strong understanding of construction site hazards and risk control measures.
- Ability to conduct safety briefing, inspection, and incident reporting.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Able to work on-site in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Physically fit and willing to work extended hours if required.
- Strong attention to detail and disciplined in compliance enforcement.
