Job Description
- Provide induction and safety training to all site personnel, sub-contractors and workers prior to work commencement, ensuring they understand site-specific hazards and safety requirements
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards, assess risks and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
- Periodically inspect all safety aspects including site access (scaffolding, gondola, passenger hoist, skylift, etc), machineries (mobile crane, forklift, electronic chain, monorail hoist, etc), power tools (cables, drill machines, cutting machines, etc)
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents and near-miss events, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Maintain detailed safety records, incident reports, inspection logs and compliance documentation as required by regulatory authorities
- Liaise with project management, contractors and regulatory bodies to ensure continuous communication regarding safety matters and compliance requirements
- Monitor the use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure all safety equipment is fit for purpose and regularly inspected
- Arrange training programs on safety measures within the workplace.
- Manage emergency response procedures and ensure all personnel are prepared for potential incidents
- Report on safety performance metrics and recommend improvements to minimise risk and enhance site safety culture
Qualifications/ Job Requirements:-
- Minimum Diploma/ Certificate in Occupational, Safety and Health qualification
- Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Site Safety Supervisor or similar health and safety role within the construction industry
- Preferably possess valid Yellow Book (registered with JKKP/DOSH).
- Proven expertise in hazard identification, risk assessment and incident investigation methodologies
- Strong understanding of construction site operations, equipment and associated hazards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage personnel at all levels
- Required skill(s): MS Office
- Possess own transport
- Candidate must be willing to work in Johor Bahru.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
