We are looking forto join our Taipei Metro, Taipei Circular Line OCS Project in Alstom Taiwan.

The Signaling Installation Site Supervisor will work in close collaboration with local Signaling installation team, civil partners and subcontractors to make sure all Signaling equipment and design well executed by subcontractors accordingly to design, project timeline and safety requirement.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Supervise site installation work for TCL1 revamping signaling system
  • Implement safety check before & after during NTH (01:00-04:30) or TH(09:00-18:00) does not impact to revenue service, such as tools, gauge check is a MUST for any equipment newly install in track area.
  • Install as per Method Statement (MS) / Installation procedures according submittal/drawings, markup completion and changes
  • Prepare Post Installation check and self installation inspection for every equipment installed at same shift
  • Coordinate OCC and station master for brown field accessing
  • Supervise workers/subcontract for accessing revenue stations / technical rooms / track
  • Plan ahead the site work for next week
  • Report field progress and issue or founding in every shift, including non-conformities to communicate to Quality team
  • Prepare material request form to warehouse for material/tools IN / OUT for next shift
  • Ensure compliance of Installation activities with D&IS Installation and FO Process
  • Make sure the EHS requirements and special processes are clearly included in the MS
  • Ensure the activities are carried out as per schedule, within the productivity required, in line with the quality standards
  • Ensure and support the Handover process to T&C team / Customer
  • Continuous improvement:

  • Contribute to best practices definition and REX within the Product Line

  • Ensure the strictly application of EHS rules by the installation workers (including Sub-contractors)

What do I need to qualify for the job?

  • Engineering diploma (Electronic/Mechanical) level or equivalent education OR experience in metro SIG/COM/PWR/PSD system...
  • 4+ years installation experiences of metro (SIG/COM/PWR/PSD) system
  • experience in point machine installation is an advantage
  • Solid experience of signaling equipment installation is an advantage
  • Solid experience of signaling system cable laying is an advantage
  • experience and knowledge of cable termination and testing
  • experience and knowledge of fiber optic splicing and testing
  • knowledge and awareness on railway EHS (revenue service experience is an advantage)
  • experience of revamping proceedure, process of metro project is an advantage
  • experience (revenue) check-in/check-out procedure of metro company(TRTC, NTMC,…etc)
  • Quality and EHS-focused, rigorous, team-player
  • Decision-making and problem-solving ability
  • Resilience, with an analytic way of thinking in order to solve Field complex deviations and issues
  • Strong leadership skills to manage multiple workers and suppliers
  • Chinese speaking, reading is a MUST. Taiwanese Hokkien speaking is a plus.
