We are seeking a sharp, highly organized, and proactive Service Coordinator to join our frontline team. If you are a natural planner who loves solving logistical puzzles, managing shifting schedules, and being the go-to person who keeps engineering or service delivery teams running smoothly, we have a desk waiting for you.

What You’ll Do (The Role)

As our Service Coordinator, you will be the conductor of our daily operations—ensuring our resources are in the right place at the right time. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Service Scheduling: Planning, optimizing, and managing daily and weekly schedules for our field service technicians and engineers.
  • Client Management: Acting as the primary, professional point of contact for clients—handling service requests, providing updates, and managing queries with absolute clarity.
  • Incident \& Escalation Handling: Rapidly responding to urgent service requests, re-routing resources on the fly, and ensuring minimal downtime for our clients.
  • Logistics \& Administration: Tracking job completion, managing service compliance records, and preparing necessary documentation or parts orders for upcoming dispatches.
  • Performance Reporting: Monitoring service delivery metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to help management continuously improve our operations.

Who You Are (The Requirements)

We need someone who remains perfectly calm in the fast lane and possesses top-tier organizational instincts. Our ideal candidate features:

  • Proven Experience: 2+ years of experience in service coordination, logistics planning, dispatch, or a fast-paced operations assistant role.
  • Communication Mastery: Flawless written and spoken English, paired with an excellent, professional telephone manner and great listening skills.
  • Tech Literacy: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (especially Excel) and hands-on experience using workforce management or CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, SimPRO, or similar scheduling platforms).
  • Problem-Solving DNA: Exceptional time-management skills with a proven capability to multitask and reprioritize tasks efficiently under pressure.
  • Local \& Eligible: Must be legally entitled to work in the UK and able to commute daily to our office at the Clyde Arc, Glasgow.
