A Senior Spa Therapist is responsible for delivering high-quality spa treatments while supervising junior therapists, maintaining exceptional guest service standards, and supporting daily spa operations. The role combines advanced technical therapy skills with leadership, client care, and operational responsibilities to ensure a premium wellness experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional spa treatments including massages, facials, body treatments, aromatherapy, As well as beauty treatments from Builder nails, elim pedicures, intimate waxing, facial waxing, lashes and wellness therapies. An advantage would be to be fully trained in Environ / Caci
- Conduct client consultations and recommend suitable treatments and products
- Ensure guest comfort, privacy, and satisfaction throughout all services
- Maintain accurate client treatment records and health questionnaires
- Monitor guest feedback and resolve concerns professionally
Team Leadership
- Supervise and support therapists
- Assist with staff training, mentoring, and performance coaching
- Ensure team compliance with salon standards, hygiene protocols, and customer service expectations
- Support scheduling and daily task allocation
Salon Operations
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of treatment rooms
- Ensure treatment equipment and products are properly stocked and maintained
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Assist management with inventory control and ordering supplies
- Support promotional activities and product sales
Customer Service \& Sales
- Build strong relationships with guests and encourage repeat business
- Promote salon packages, retail products, and wellness programs
- Handle bookings, inquiries, and customer complaints when required
- Deliver a luxury guest experience aligned with company standards
Required Skills \& Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Spa Therapy, Beauty Therapy, Massage Therapy, or related field
- Proven experience as a Salon/Spa Therapist, with experience in a senior or supervisory role preferred
- Strong knowledge of massage techniques, skincare treatments, and wellness therapies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership and team management abilities
- High standards of professionalism and personal presentation
- Knowledge of health, hygiene, and safety regulations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if required
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications in specialized treatments
- Experience in luxury hotel spas or wellness centers
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Retail sales experience
