Responsibilities
- You must analyse business and user requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions across Cash Management, Trade Finance, and Supply Chain Finance platforms.
- You are expected to assess technical feasibility, system impact, and dependencies for new requirements and change requests, working with solution architects and business teams to define appropriate solutions.
- You must prepare and maintain Solution Architecture Documents (SAD) and Technical Specification Documents (TSD) aligned with business and technical requirements.
- You are expected to design and support complex application integrations across payment systems, core banking platforms, and other transaction banking systems.
- You must manage application deployment and infrastructure-related activities, working closely with infrastructure and support teams to ensure stable delivery and operations.
- You are expected to troubleshoot complex technical issues across applications, networks, integrations, databases, and system logs, identifying root causes and implementing appropriate fixes.
- You must review application and database performance, including query performance and data access, and recommend improvements to system speed, scalability, and reliability.
- You are expected to support post-production operations, ensuring application availability, performance, and timely resolution of incidents.
- You must identify opportunities for platform enhancement and recommend technical improvements to optimise transaction banking processes and system performance.
- You are expected to communicate technical solutions, issues, and recommendations effectively to IT managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Strong experience in application solutioning, technical analysis, and system design within banking or financial services environments.
- Experience working with Cash Management, Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Payments, and/or Core Banking platforms.
- Strong experience with complex integration involving multiple payment systems and core banking platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Java and enterprise application environments.
- Experience with middleware such as Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, or Apache Tomcat.
- Strong database knowledge across Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or MongoDB, including SQL and database performance troubleshooting.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, API Gateway, and enterprise integration technologies.
- Exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging platforms such as ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Experience with development and delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, Rally, Postman, Maven, or Gradle.
- Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills, with the ability to troubleshoot application logs, network connectivity, integrations, and database issues.
Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
