We are looking for a qualified and experienced *Senior QC Engineer* to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities for structural steel and fabrication works. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of fabrication standards, inspection procedures, welding quality, and documentation requirements.
The role will involve ensuring that all fabrication and installation works comply with project specifications, approved drawings, and relevant international standards.
Key Responsibilities*
Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures for fabrication works.
Conduct inspections for raw materials, fit-up, welding, dimensional checks, and final assembly.
Review WPS, PQR, welder qualifications, and inspection records.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors during inspections.
Prepare and maintain QA/QC documents, reports, and compliance records.
Ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.
Monitor NCRs and corrective actions until closure.
Support site inspections and erection quality checks when required.
Requirements*
Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical or related engineering.
Minimum *7–10 years experience* in steel fabrication / structural projects.
Relevant QC certifications (CSWIP / AWS / BGAS / NDT Level II preferred).
Strong knowledge of welding, coating, and steel fabrication inspection.
Familiarity with QA/QC documentation and international standards.
Pay: From AED6,500.00 per month
