The Oracle Product Architect is responsible for shaping and guiding the technical architecture of integrations, data flows, security patterns and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure components across the Oracle landscape, including Oracle Fusion, Oracle Integration Cloud and OCI.
The role works closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, implementation teams, support teams, technology departments and business stakeholders to translate business and functional requirements into robust, scalable and secure technical solutions.
The Product Architect acts as a bridge between business needs and technical implementation, providing expert guidance on solution design, implementation approach and technical decision-making. The role is responsible for assessing solution options and recommending the most suitable architecture.
This position has a strong focus on shaping architectural solutions, defining implementation steps, supporting delivery teams through execution, and acting as a subject matter expert for Oracle integrations, OCI/OIC, data analytics and security-related design decisions.
Qualifications
Preferred Technical Expertise
Oracle Integration Cloud / OIC
- Strong hands-on and architectural experience with Oracle Integration Cloud, preferably OIC Gen 3.
- Ability to design and implement integration solutions between Oracle Fusion ERP, EPM and third-party enterprise systems.
- Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, FTP/SFTP, web services, APIs, payload transformation, orchestration, mappings, lookups and error handling.
- Experience using Oracle and non-Oracle adapters, including Fusion Applications adapters and generic REST/SOAP adapters.
- Ability to define integration standards, reusable patterns, monitoring approaches and support models.
- Experience troubleshooting integration failures, performance issues, data transformation problems and connectivity/security-related incidents.
- Experience with Oracle Visual Builder / VBCS for building, extending or integrating solutions
- Knowledge of service connections, business objects, page flows, action chains
- Understanding of Redwood design principles.
- Experience designing data flows between Oracle Fusion, OIC, OCI and reporting/analytics platforms.
- Understanding of reporting and extraction tools such as BI Publisher, OTBI, Fusion extracts, data models and scheduled reporting outputs.
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure / OCI
- Practical experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services and architecture principles.
- Understanding of OCI tenancy structure, compartments, regions, IAM policies, networking, private endpoints and secure connectivity patterns.
- Experience with OCI services such as Object Storage, Vault, Logging, Monitoring, Notifications, Events, Functions, API Gateway and Resource Manager would be valuable.
- Ability to design secure, scalable and maintainable cloud solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and security standards.
- Understanding of cloud resilience, availability, observability, backup/recovery and operational support considerations.
