Job Description

Our Client

Our client is a well-established physiotherapy group in Singapore with multiple clinic locations islandwide. The practice provides comprehensive, evidence-based physiotherapy and rehabilitation services with a strong focus on personalised treatment, clinical excellence and long-term patient outcomes.

They are currently looking for an experienced

Senior Physiotherapist

to join their growing clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently assess, diagnose and manage a diverse caseload of

musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, sports injury and post-operative rehabilitation patients

.

  • Develop and implement individualised, evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation programmes based on each patient's condition, lifestyle and recovery goals.
  • Provide hands-on physiotherapy treatment alongside progressive

exercise rehabilitation, strengthening and injury prevention programmes.

  • Apply strong clinical reasoning to identify underlying causes of pain and movement dysfunction rather than focusing solely on symptom management.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment programmes appropriately to achieve optimal functional outcomes.
  • Educate patients on their condition, recovery process, self-management strategies and prevention of recurrent injuries.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and quality of patient care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold high professional and ethical standards.
  • Contribute to clinical knowledge-sharing and provide guidance or mentorship to junior physiotherapists where appropriate.
  • Support the clinic in maintaining consistently high standards of

clinical care and patient experience.

Requirements

Recognised

Degree in Physiotherapy

or equivalent qualification.

Must be

Fully Registered or eligible for registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), Singapore.

Minimum

3–5 years of relevant physiotherapy experience

, preferably within an outpatient, private practice, hospital outpatient or musculoskeletal setting.

Strong clinical experience in managing

musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions

, including back, neck, shoulder, knee and other joint or soft-tissue conditions.

Experience managing

sports injuries and/or post-operative rehabilitation

would be highly advantageous.

Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and treatment planning capabilities with the ability to manage patients independently.

Competent in

manual therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation

, with a strong focus on restoring mobility, strength and function.

Patient-focused with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Able to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary or collaborative clinical environment.

Proactive about continued professional development and keeping up to date with evidence-based physiotherapy practices.

Comfortable working within the operating requirements of a

private outpatient clinic

, including weekends where required.

Highly Advantageous

Previous experience working in a

private physiotherapy or specialist outpatient setting.

Additional training or certification in areas such as:

  • Dry Needling
  • Clinical Pilates
  • Strength \& Conditioning
  • Sports Rehabilitation
  • Manual Therapy
  • Post-Operative Rehabilitation
  • Experience mentoring or supervising junior physiotherapists would be advantageous for candidates considered at the more senior level.
