Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant to lead the design, development, implementation, support, and optimization of technical solutions across Oracle Fusion Cloud applications and enterprise systems. The role requires strong expertise in Oracle Fusion technical architecture, reporting, integrations, data migration, extensions, workflow configuration, security, and enterprise application support.
The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, solution architects, infrastructure teams, and implementation partners to deliver secure, scalable, reusable, and high-performing technical solutions aligned with business objectives, enterprise architecture standards, and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Lead end-to-end design, development, deployment, and support of Oracle Fusion technical solutions across enterprise programs.
- Develop technical solutions supporting Oracle Fusion applications including:

- Third-party enterprise systems
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into robust technical designs.
- Participate in architecture discussions and recommend best-practice technical approaches, tools, and delivery methods.
- Prepare and review technical design documents, interface specifications, mapping documents, test scenarios, deployment plans, and support documentation.
Development, Reporting \& Extensions
- Design and develop Oracle Fusion technical components including:

- BI Publisher reports
- OTBI analyses and dashboards
- SQL-based extracts and queries
- Data models and bursting logic
- ESS job scheduling and automation
- Alerts and notifications
- Workflow and approval configurations
- Personalizations and page customizations
- Sandbox-based changes
- Extensions and custom objects where applicable
- Develop reusable technical frameworks, templates, and utilities to improve delivery efficiency and maintainability.
- Support development of custom reports, operational reports, statutory reports, and management dashboards.
- Configure and manage reporting solutions for finance, procurement, HR, supply chain, and project operations.
- Implement data validation, transformation, enrichment, and formatting logic within technical solutions.
Support Integration \& Data Migration
- Support integration between Oracle Fusion applications and external systems using:

- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- File-based integrations
- FBDI
- HDL
- HSDL
- Custom file interfaces
- SFTP/FTP-based exchanges
- Database connections
- Support inbound and outbound interfaces for Oracle Fusion modules and third-party applications.
- Support data migration activities including extraction, transformation, loading, reconciliation, and validation.
- Support Troubleshooting interface failures, analyze logs, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Support integration with Oracle ERP Cloud web services, business events, and external middleware platforms.
Security, Configuration \& Administration
- Support Oracle Fusion security configuration including roles, privileges, data access, and user provisioning requirements.
- Collaborate with functional and security teams to ensure appropriate access controls and segregation of duties.
- Assist with environment setup, configuration validation, and technical readiness activities.
- Support application setup related to technical objects, scheduled processes, and system parameters.
- Ensure secure handling of credentials, certificates, and sensitive data in technical solutions.
Testing \& Deployment
- Lead unit testing, SIT, UAT support, regression testing, and production deployment activities for technical deliverables.
- Validate reports, interfaces, data loads, workflows, and end-to-end transaction flows.
- Support cutover planning, migration of technical artifacts, and production readiness checks.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during testing and post-go-live stabilization.
- Provide hypercare and post-go-live support to ensure stable operations.
Monitoring, Support \& Continuous Improvement
- Monitor scheduled jobs, report executions, interface runs, and error queues in Oracle Fusion and related tools.
- Provide L2/L3 technical support for production incidents and service requests.
- Analyze recurring issues and implement automation, optimization, and preventive controls.
- Maintain technical documentation, support runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement in performance, reliability, standardization, and reusability of technical solutions.
Stakeholder \& Governance Management
- Engage with business users, functional consultants, solution architects, PMOs, and technical teams to gather requirements and resolve issues.
- Participate in design reviews, governance meetings, and project status updates.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise technical standards, audit requirements, data governance policies, and change management processes.
- Coordinate with Oracle Support and third-party vendors for issue resolution and service requests.
Requirements Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline.
- Oracle Fusion technical certification or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
- 8–12+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in Oracle Fusion technical development, reporting, integrations, or support.
- Proven experience in at least 2–3 full lifecycle Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion technical architecture, reporting, integrations, data migration, and cloud-to-cloud/cloud-to-on-premise connectivity.

- Knowledge of Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle HCM Cloud, Oracle SCM Cloud, and Oracle EPM Cloud technical scenarios.
- Exposure to Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Service Bus, MuleSoft, Informatica, Boomi, or other middleware platforms.
- Understanding of B2B integrations, EDI, SFTP-based file exchanges, and batch processing.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud release management and quarterly update impact assessment.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment approaches for technical objects.
- Knowledge of data migration tools and methods such as FBDI, HDL, HSDL, and custom file interfaces.
- Understanding of enterprise architecture, technical governance, and API lifecycle management.
- Experience with Oracle ADF, Visual Builder, or other Oracle extension frameworks is an advantage.
