Key Requirements

Advanced knowledge of BGP-VPN, EVPN, MPLS, SD-WAN , DNS , IPv4/v6, VPN, Ethernet and InfiniBand networking

Proven ability to automate and manage networks using Ansible, Terraform, or custom network automation tools such as Netbox.

Ability to work with operational approaches – on-call/support/monitoring networks, failover procedure/recovery.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable data center network architectures for Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), hybrid/multi-cloud, and edge network environments.
- Troubleshoot and provide in-depth support for network components including firewalls, switches, load balancers, spine/leaf architecture, Infiniband, and storage networking.
- Ensure optimal operation and performance of critical network systems by monitoring, maintaining, and resolving issues with networks, failover procedures, and recovery plans.
- Architect and maintain advanced networking solutions involving BGP-VPN, EVPN, MPLS, SD-WAN, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, VPN, Ethernet, and Infiniband protocols.
- Utilize network automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and custom solutions (e.g., Netbox) to automate configuration, deployment, and management of networks.
- Provide on-call support and monitor network systems to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
- Implement and improve operational best practices to optimize network performance and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and implement network solutions that align with business objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in network architecture and troubleshooting at a data center level.
- Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with BGP-VPN, EVPN, MPLS, SD-WAN, DNS, IPv4/v6, VPN, Ethernet, and Infiniband networking protocols.
- Strong expertise in network automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or custom solutions (e.g., Netbox).
- Proven ability to design, deploy, and manage complex hybrid/multi-cloud network environments and edge network setups.
- Experience with network components such as firewalls, load balancers, spine/leaf architecture, Infiniband, and storage networking.
- Ability to work with operational processes such as on-call support, network monitoring, and failover/recovery procedures.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving network performance issues in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or other relevant certifications.
- Familiarity with cloud-native network architectures and containerized environments (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
- Experience with network performance monitoring tools and cloud-based network management platforms.
