Are you a data analyst who wants to work on real business challenges, beyond dashboards and reporting? In Corporate Audit, you’ll apply analytics to uncover risks, improve processes, and support management decisions across Hapag-Lloyd’s liner shipping business and Hanseatic Global Terminals.
Corporate Audit evaluates risks and strengthens governance and processes across all units and holdings. We use advanced analytics and technology to perform in-depth audits, identify root causes, and collaborate with management on sustainable improvements.
With teams in Hamburg, Dubai, Singapore, and Santiago de Chile, we work globally and closely with stakeholders across the organization. This role offers the opportunity to build and own audit-analytics products and, if desired, develop toward broader audit responsibilities over time.

Qualifications * A degree in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or Data Science * At least 5 years of relevant experience in data analytics, business analytics, audit analytics, or adjacent roles * The ability to uncover insights from complex datasets and identify improvement opportunities * Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical insights in clear, business-friendly terms * A growth-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn auditing concepts * Willingness to travel internationally up to 30% * English mandatory, German and/or Spanish are a plus
Responsibilities * Leverage Data: Analyze operational, financial, and performance data to detect anomalies, trends, and control weaknesses across liner shipping and terminal business. * Support Audits: Partner with auditors to design and execute data-driven audits, ensuring insights inform actionable outcomes. * Drive Innovation: Introduce advanced analytics and emerging technologies to enhance audit processes. * Consult with Leadership: Act as an internal consultant, providing senior management with actionable insights and recommendations for strategic decisions. * Learn and Grow: Transition into leading end-to-end audits, from evaluating controls to drafting reports and advising on solutions.
