About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Lighting Designer to join our Singapore studio for a temporary maternity cover of 6 months, with the option to extend. This role is suited to a creative, proactive, and highly collaborative designer with strong communication skills and at least 5 years of industry experience.

You will take a lead role in delivering projects from concept through to completion, working closely with Directors, Associates, and our global team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage day-to-day project delivery with support from Directors and Associates
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, interior designers, consultants, and developers
• Collaborate closely with the Singapore studio and wider global team
• Develop lighting concepts, including sketches, renders, and mood imagery
• Clearly communicate design intent to clients and project teams
• Undertake proof-of-concept calculations and modelling (where applicable)
• Produce drawings and supporting documentation
• Specify lighting equipment and control systems
• Provide on-site support during construction and attend commissioning

About You:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an independent lighting consultancy
• Strong experience in luxury hospitality projects and managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven ability to lead lighting design projects
• Relevant qualification in Architecture, Lighting Design, Interior Design, or Product Design
• High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Dialux or AGI
• Working knowledge of BIM/Revit
• Working knowledge of sustainability frameworks (e.g., Greenstar, Green Mark, LEED, WELL)
• Willingness to travel (domestic and international) as required
• Applicants must have the right to work in Singapore
