Key Responsibilities
IT Strategy and Digital Transformation
- Develop and implement the company’s IT and digital transformation strategy.
- Align technology initiatives with the company’s business objectives and long-term growth plans.
- Assess existing business processes, systems, and technology infrastructure.
- Identify opportunities for automation, system integration, process improvement, and digitalization.
- Prepare digital transformation roadmaps, implementation plans, budgets, and performance measures.
- Advise senior management on emerging technologies, technology risks, and investment priorities.
- Lead the transition from manual or legacy processes to modern digital platforms.
- Promote digital adoption and technology awareness across the organization.
- Monitor the business impact and return on investment of technology initiatives.
System Implementation and Integration
- Lead the selection, design, implementation, and deployment of enterprise systems.
- Manage implementations involving ERP, CRM, HRMS, finance, procurement, document management, workflow automation, and other business applications.
- Gather and analyze requirements from business departments.
- Convert business requirements into functional and technical system specifications.
- Evaluate software vendors, implementation partners, and technology solutions.
- Manage system configuration, customization, testing, data migration, user acceptance testing, and go-live activities.
- Ensure successful integration between business applications, databases, cloud platforms, and third-party systems.
- Coordinate system training, user documentation, and post-implementation support.
- Monitor system performance and recommend upgrades or improvements.
System Architecture
- Design secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-effective technology architectures.
- Develop architecture standards for applications, networks, servers, cloud services, databases, integrations, and cybersecurity.
- Review existing systems and recommend modernization, consolidation, or replacement.
- Ensure that new solutions are compatible with the company’s technology environment.
- Design high-availability, backup, disaster-recovery, and business-continuity solutions.
- Maintain accurate system architecture diagrams, technical documentation, asset records, and configuration information.
- Ensure architecture decisions support future company growth and digital transformation requirements.
IT Infrastructure and Operations
- Manage the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, internet connectivity, cloud services, storage, hardware, software, and communication systems.
- Ensure the availability, performance, reliability, and security of all IT services.
- Manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, email systems, cloud platforms, file-sharing systems, and endpoint devices.
- Oversee hardware and software installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Establish preventive-maintenance schedules for technology assets.
- Manage IT service requests, incidents, problems, and changes.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment, licenses, systems, and warranties.
- Ensure compliance with software licensing and vendor agreements.
Troubleshooting and Technical Support
- Lead the resolution of complex technical incidents and system failures.
- Troubleshoot issues involving networks, servers, applications, databases, cloud systems, security tools, and end-user devices.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Establish escalation procedures and service-level standards.
- Monitor recurring incidents and implement preventive solutions.
- Provide expert technical guidance to IT staff and business users.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve critical technical problems.
- Ensure minimal system downtime and business disruption.
Cybersecurity and Information Protection
- Develop and implement the company’s cybersecurity strategy, policies, procedures, and controls.
- Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and vulnerability reviews.
- Protect the company’s systems, networks, data, applications, and digital assets from cyber threats.
- Manage firewalls, antivirus solutions, endpoint protection, access controls, encryption, email security, and security-monitoring tools.
- Implement identity and access-management controls based on least-privilege principles.
- Monitor security alerts, suspicious activity, and system logs.
- Lead the response to cybersecurity incidents, data breaches, malware, phishing, and unauthorized access.
- Coordinate penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security audits.
- Establish backup, disaster-recovery, and incident-response plans.
- Deliver cybersecurity awareness training to employees.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data-protection, privacy, and cybersecurity requirements.
- Maintain documentation of security incidents, corrective actions, and risk-treatment plans.
Complex Project Management
- Lead complex, cross-functional IT and digital transformation projects.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Prepare detailed project plans, risk registers, status reports, and implementation schedules.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Coordinate internal teams, business users, consultants, vendors, and implementation partners.
- Monitor project performance against agreed timelines, costs, quality standards, and business outcomes.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, delays, and resource constraints.
- Resolve project issues and escalate critical matters to senior management.
- Manage project changes and ensure proper approval and documentation.
- Conduct project reviews and document lessons learned.
- Ensure projects are completed successfully and achieve the expected business benefits.
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead, supervise, and develop the IT department.
- Assign responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Establish departmental objectives, priorities, procedures, and service standards.

- Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs.

Administrative and Governance Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage the annual IT budget.

- Manage IT contracts, software subscriptions, service agreements, and vendor relationships.
- Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate commercial and service terms.
- Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on IT operations, cybersecurity, project progress, risks, and budgets.
- Maintain system documentation, licenses, warranties, contracts, and technical records.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required IT documentation and evidence.
- Ensure IT activities comply with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Participate in business-continuity planning and organizational risk-management activities.
Change Management and User Adoption
- Develop change-management plans for new systems and digital initiatives.
- Communicate the purpose, benefits, and impact of technology changes to employees.
- Coordinate user training, workshops, demonstrations, and support materials.
- Address resistance to change and promote adoption of new systems and processes.
- Gather user feedback and improve solutions based on operational requirements.
- Monitor system adoption and user satisfaction after implementation.
- Ensure departments receive adequate support during and after system transitions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- A master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or Digital Transformation is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior IT management, IT architecture, or digital transformation role.
- Proven experience leading enterprise system implementations and complex technology projects.
- Strong experience in IT infrastructure, system architecture, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and business applications.
- Demonstrated experience managing IT teams, vendors, consultants, and implementation partners.
- Experience working directly with senior management and business department heads.
