Focus of the Role
As the Senior Internal Communications and Engagement Lead for Telstra Enterprise, you will shape and deliver the employee communications, engagement and inclusion strategy that connects our people to our purpose, culture and strategic priorities. You will play a critical role in bringing the Telstra Enterprise vision to life by creating clear, compelling and authentic narratives that help employees understand where we are going, why it matters and how they contribute to our success.
As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you will translate complex business strategies, transformation programs and organisational priorities into engaging communications, campaigns and experiences that drive alignment, understanding and action across the Enterprise workforce.
A key focus of the role is leading the Enterprise employee engagement agenda. Leveraging insights from the internal data, listening channels and workforce data, you will identify themes, uncover opportunities and partner with leaders to design communications and engagement strategies that improve employee experience, strengthen culture and increase organisational effectiveness. You will help ensure employees see visible action in response to their feedback and foster a culture of continuous listening and improvement.
You will own and deliver high-impact communications and "moments that matter", including:
In addition, you will support the creation of C-suit, executive-ready presentations, leadership messaging packs, visual storytelling assets and go-to-market communications materials that help bring strategic initiatives to life across the organisation. You will also get involved in the ongoing development and refresh of Enterprise SharePoint and digital communication channels, ensuring employees have access to relevant, engaging and easy-to-navigate content that strengthens connection, alignment and knowledge sharing.
Success in this role requires exceptional storytelling capability, strong executive (c-suit) stakeholder management, a passion for employee experience and engagement, and the ability to blend communications, culture, data insights and creativity to build a more connected, informed and inclusive Telstra Enterprise.
