We are the exclusive dealer of BOLONI in Ireland, based in Dublin, specializing in full-home customization and Italian-inspired design aesthetics.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Interior Designer to join our team and lead the delivery of professional full-home customization design solutions for our clients.
About the Role
As a Senior Interior Designer, you will take ownership of client relationships from initial consultation through to final installation — producing design proposals, detailed drawings, and guiding junior team members where needed. You'll play a key role in ensuring design quality and client satisfaction across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client consultations to understand space requirements, style preferences, and budget
- Conduct on-site measurements and assess spatial conditions (plumbing, electrical points, load-bearing structures, etc.)
- Produce floor plans, elevations, renderings, and detailed construction drawings
- Recommend suitable BOLONI cabinet, wardrobe, and furniture solutions based on client needs
- Prepare detailed quotations and confirm design specifications with clients (door finishes, hardware, dimensions, etc.)
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring design quality and timelines are met
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Review and guide junior designers' work where applicable
- Track project progress, manage design changes, and handle client sign-off/acceptance
- Capture and organize photos/videos of completed projects for marketing purposes
Requirements
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in interior design and custom/bespoke furniture design (kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, or similar full-home customization projects)
- Proven track record of independently managing full-scale design projects from concept to completion
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max/VRay, or similar design software (experience with 2020 Design or Kujiale is a plus)
- Fluent English (spoken and written) — required for day-to-day communication with local suppliers, contractors, and the installation team
- Fluent Mandarin Chinese preferred (our client base is primarily Chinese-speaking)
- Strong spatial planning skills and a refined sense of aesthetics
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Valid driver's license preferred (for site measurements/client visits)
- Valid right to work in Ireland
What We Offer
- Competitive salary, commensurate with experience
- Opportunity to grow with an expanding premium home design brand
- A leadership role with real influence over design direction and project quality
- Collaborative, supportive team environment
