ABOUT US: Elizabeth Hay Design is a globally recognised interior design studio with offices in Hungerford (UK) and Singapore. We specialise in imaginative, layered, and highly personal interiors for discerning international clients. Our projects span the UK, Europe, the Middle East, the US, and Asia, and we work with some of the most demanding briefs and exciting properties around the world. This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing and creatively ambitious practice. We are looking for a seasoned and proactive Senior Designer who brings not only technical expertise and experience but leadership, ambition, and a sense of ownership.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- A true senior-level designer with at least 5 years of experience leading large scale, high-end residential projects, ideally in global locations.

- Someone who has previously worked at one of the UK’s or Europe’s or Singapore's top interior design firms — and understands the rigour, pace, and expectations that come with this.

- Exceptionally organised and proactive, able to manage complex project logistics, installations, ordering, and supplier management independently and flawlessly.

- Confident in client communication, able to hold your own in meetings with high-profile individuals.

- Looking for a long-term position with scope to grow into a leadership role within the company.

CORE REPSONSIBILITIES

- Independently manage 2–3 international projects at any one time from concept to completion.

- Collaborate closely with Elizabeth on creative direction while owning and executing project delivery.

- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, procurement, and all day-to day coordination.

- Lead client communications and presentations with clarity, polish, and confidence.

- Liaise with contractors, architects, and site teams on all technical and build related issues.

- Design bespoke furniture, lighting, and joinery as required.

- Bring fresh supplier ideas and a honed eye for colour, detail, and materiality to each project.

KEY SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum 5 years running high-end residential projects ideally internationally.

- Excellent grasp of project budgeting, estimating, and programming.

- Strong time management and multi-project juggling skills.

- Outstanding verbal and written communication.

- Fluent in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite (Photoshop/InDesign), and confident producing plan and elevations.

- Deep knowledge of suppliers, showrooms, and materials.

- Meticulous attention to detail — from pricing estimates to presentation boards.

- Highly proactive, solutions-oriented, and unafraid to take initiative.

WHY JOIN US

- Creative freedom and input from day one.

- Exposure to exciting global projects.

- Opportunity to shape the future of a growing business with a clear path to a leadership position.

- A positive, supportive, and non-corporate work environment that values trust, autonomy, and ambition.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
