Job Overview

M2-BG Ceramics is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Design Consultant to lead interior design projects and provide creative, functional, and commercially effective design solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to develop high-quality interior concepts, particularly for spaces incorporating ceramic, tile, and finishing materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and present interior design concepts based on client requirements and project objectives.
• Consult with clients regarding layouts, materials, finishes, colors, fixtures, and design styles.
• Recommend suitable ceramic tiles, flooring, wall finishes, and complementary materials.
• Prepare mood boards, material selections, space plans, and design presentations.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure design accuracy.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, suppliers, and project teams throughout the design process.
• Conduct site visits and monitor the implementation of approved designs.
• Ensure design solutions meet quality, functionality, budget, and aesthetic requirements.
• Prepare quotations, material schedules, and project documentation when required.
• Keep up to date with interior design trends, materials, technologies, and industry developments.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers and team members.
• Manage multiple client projects while maintaining deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Interior Designer, Design Consultant, or similar senior-level role.
• Strong knowledge of interior materials, ceramic products, tiles, finishes, and space planning.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D visualization, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of design principles, construction details, and material specifications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and client-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Previous experience in the ceramics, interiors, construction, or building-materials industry is an advantage.
