POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior HR \& Admin Executive will manage day-to-day HR operations, plant administrative functions, foreign worker management, and workplace safety compliance across Supersafe Industries Sdn. Bhd. and its Group of Companies. This role plays a key operational part in managing factory workforce discipline, supporting statutory compliance, and executing the physical HR/Admin logistics for the upcoming manufacturing plant relocation to Semenyih.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES \& DUTIES
1. Plant HR Operations \& Industrial Relations
- Oversee site-level HR operations for factory floor, technical, and corporate staff across the group.
- Maintain compliance with the Malaysian Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967, and OSHA regulations.
- Issue and track disciplinary actions (Show Cause Letters, Warning Letters, Insubordination/Absenteeism notices); assist in conducting preliminary investigations and minuting Domestic Inquiries (DI).
- Coordinate factory overtime approvals, shift schedules, and attendance/time-card verification for payroll processing.
2. Group Administration \& Factory Operations
- Manage factory office administrative tasks, facility maintenance, utility vendors, office supplies, and equipment servicing.
- Oversee business licensing, local council permits (MPKJ/MPSI), authority inspections, and fire safety (Bomba) compliance across group entities.
- Supervise security personnel, hostel accommodation, factory cleanliness, and site access protocols.
3. Foreign Worker Management
- Manage foreign worker documentation, passport renewals, work permit (PLKS) extensions, FOMEMA medical check-ups, and CIDB/JKKP compliance where applicable.
- Oversee foreign worker hostel management, transport logistics, and compliance with Act 446 (Minimum Standards of Housing and Amenities).
4. Plant Relocation Coordination (Seri Kembangan to Semenyih)
- Act as the HR \& Admin operational coordinator for the factory and office transition to Semenyih in Q1 2027.
- Assist in mapping employee commuting needs, relocation arrangements, and site handover logistics.
- Support the physical migration of employee records, office assets, plant admin infrastructure, and local authority site registrations.
5. Recruitment, Onboarding \& Group Support
- Manage recruitment for production operator leadership, technicians, admin staff, and group-level vacancies.
- Conduct virtual initial screenings and coordinate technical floor interviews with Plant Managers.
- Manage group-wide onboarding, orientation, probation tracking, and confirmation appraisals.
JOB REQUIREMENTS \& QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: 3 to 7 years of combined HR and General Administration experience, with direct exposure to a manufacturing or factory environment.
- Group \& Industry Exposure: Prior experience managing foreign workers, hostel administration (Act 446), and plant facilities in a group/multi-entity setup.
- Legal \& Regulatory Knowledge: Practical knowledge of the Employment Act 1955, basic OSHA awareness, and local authority/licensing procedures.
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Languages: Strong command of Bahasa Malaysia and English (ability to communicate with foreign workers in basic Malay/English is required).
- Mobility \& Commitment: Possess own transport; willing to work at Seri Kembangan initially and transition to Semenyih in Q1 2027.
WORKING CONDITIONS \& EXPECTATIONS
- Working Hours: Standard plant corporate hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM / Alternate Saturdays if required by plant operational needs).
- Scope Modification: Management reserves the right to assign cross-entity administrative or operational tasks within the Group of Companies as operational needs dictate.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
