Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Node.js \& React)

Location: Sepang, Selangor, Malaysia

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Sepang, Selangor. In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance enterprise applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will also mentor developers, champion engineering best practices, and contribute to building innovative software solutions for a large-scale business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications.
• Mentor software engineers and provide technical leadership on complex initiatives.
• Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.
• Drive Test-Driven Development (TDD) and promote quality engineering practices.
• Collaborate with QA teams to implement automated testing strategies.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and streamline deployment processes.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
• Ensure applications meet security, scalability, and reliability standards.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Work closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
• Share technical knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Senior Full Stack Developer/Engineer.
• Strong frontend development experience using:
• React.js (Mandatory)
• JavaScript
• HTML5
• CSS3
• Responsive UI development
• Strong backend development experience using:
• Node.js (Mandatory)
• .NET (C#) is an added advantage
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing scalable database schemas.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with performance testing and load testing.
• Good understanding of API security, RESTful services, and WebSockets.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating enterprise applications and third-party APIs.
• Knowledge of Kong API Gateway.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Exposure to Airline or Airport operational systems is an advantage.
• Experience with Navitaire solutions (New Skies/Open Skies) is highly preferred.

Pay: RM3,682.90 - RM15,000.00 per month
