Senior Finance Analyst – Budgeting & Reporting (Hybrid & Flexi Hour)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Analyst – Budgeting \& Reporting to oversee financial operations across multiple countries and portfolios. Reporting to the Budgeting and Reporting Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening financial controls, ensuring compliance with donor requirements, improving financial processes and providing financial insights to support organizational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee financial operations, accounting, reporting and full cost recovery across multiple portfolios.

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and month-end reporting activities.

- Monitor financial transactions, investigate anomalies and ensure compliance with internal controls and approved budgets.

- Review financial data and ERP records to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with financial policies.

- Analyse financial performance, cost structures and resource allocation to support informed business decisions.

- Provide financial guidance to project leads and management on budgeting, reporting, cost allocation and financial management matters.

- Mentor and provide technical guidance to finance teams across multiple offices and portfolios.

- Identify opportunities to improve financial workflows, systems, reporting processes and operational efficiency.

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of financial queries and consistent financial practices.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.

- Partial professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA or equivalent); a Master's degree is an advantage.

- Experience in accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, reporting or financial operations.

- Strong knowledge of financial controls, compliance requirements and accounting systems.

- Experience with ERP and financial management systems.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
