Job Summary

Position: Senior Design Engineer (Civil &Structural) for Good Class Bungalows

Responsibilities

• Design Engineering: Perform civil and structural engineering design for Good Class Bungalows, ensuring compliance with standards and project requirements.
• Structural Analysis: Analyze structural components using engineering software to validate design integrity and ensure safety.
• Code Compliance: Apply BS/EU codes of practice to develop compliant structural designs.
• Concept Design: Create structural concepts focused on economic efficiency to optimize resource use and project feasibility.
• Reporting: Report project progress and technical findings clearly to the Project Director and management.

Required Competencies and Certifications

• Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent recognized by the Professional Engineering Board of Singapore.
• Experience: At least 5 years of relevant working experience in civil and structural engineering design.
• Compliance: Proficient in applying local design standards and codes throughout project execution.
• Software Skills: Proficient in engineering design software, including :Tekla Tedds Staad Plaxis Esteem Midas AutoCAD GStarCAD.
• Professional Status: Registered Professional Engineer (PE) status will be considered for company equity shares.

Previous projects undertaken by the partners range from flyovers, water supply schemes, low cost housing, hotels, hospitals, churches, high rise condominiums, airport buildings, institutional and commercial buildings, and industrial complexes. The firm also offers management services to contractors undertaking government projects. Since 200, a consortium of association has been formed with world renowned engineer Dr. Alfred Yee of Precast Design Consultants who now shares an office with us to serve a wider spectrum of clientele requiring varied engineering consultation and management. The ultimate aim is to give excellence of service to our clientele.
