Senior Design Engineer – Civil & Structural

We are seeking an experienced and technically driven Senior Structural Design Engineer to lead the structural design of complex commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in Post-Tensioned (PT) and Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) systems, with a proven ability to deliver safe, economic, and code-compliant designs. Proficiency in structural steel design will be considered a significant added advantage.

• Concrete \& PT Design: Lead the conceptual and detailed design of PT and RCC structures, including high-rise buildings, flat slabs, and complex framing systems.
• Structural Analysis: Perform advanced linear and non-linear structural analysis (gravity and lateral load design) using industry-standard 3D modeling software.
• Steel Structures (Advantage): Design structural steel elements such as trusses, bracings, and connections for composite structures or industrial buildings.
• Drawing Review \& Coordination: Review and approve shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings to ensure complete accuracy and constructability.
• Mentorship \& Leadership: Guide and mentor junior engineers and drafting teams, checking their deliverables and fostering a collaborative design environment.
• Code Compliance: Ensure all designs and documentation strictly adhere to relevant international and local building codes.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with architects, geotechnical engineers, contractors, and clients to resolve design queries (RFIs) and ensure seamless project delivery.

Pay: RO500.000 - RO750.000 per month
