Position Overview

The Senior Data Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing operational, financial, and commercial data to improve business performance, optimize processes, and support executive decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with business acumen and the ability to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs for operational, commercial, and financial performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with business leaders to define analytical requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations.
• Design and implement data models to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
• Conduct forecasting, predictive analysis, and scenario modeling to support business planning.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across reporting systems.
• Automate reporting processes and improve data workflows to enhance efficiency.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Support digital transformation initiatives through advanced analytics and business intelligence solutions.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of analytical best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data modeling.
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, forecasting, and predictive modeling techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the maritime, logistics, transportation, offshore, or energy sectors.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and enterprise data environments.
• Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms and data warehousing solutions.
• Professional certifications in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Science.
