About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Senior Consultant – Business Analyst (Data) to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering Data Governance, Data Quality, Modern Data Platform, Data Warehouse, and Business Intelligence initiatives.

This role requires strong expertise in business analysis, data management, business intelligence solutions, stakeholder engagement, and requirements elicitation. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that data products and analytics solutions deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for data management, data warehousing, and BI initiatives.
• Lead requirements workshops, stakeholder interviews, focus groups, and discovery sessions.
• Define user stories, business specifications, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
• Manage and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver modern data platform and BI solutions.
• Recommend use cases and improvements for data warehouse, reporting, analytics, and self-service BI capabilities.
• Support Data Governance and Data Quality initiatives.
• Liaise with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
• Plan, coordinate, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenarios and test scripts.
• Assist in developing testing strategies and execution plans.
• Ensure product releases are clearly communicated and aligned with stakeholder expectations.
• Work effectively within Agile and Waterfall project environments.
• Support training, knowledge transfer, and change management activities.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with experience in one or more of the following sectors will be highly preferred:

• Public Sector
• Census \& Statistics
• International Trade
• Socio-Economic Analysis

Requirements Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within Data Management, Data Warehousing, Analytics, or Business Intelligence projects.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working on enterprise-scale data and analytics programs.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of:

• Data Warehousing
• Data Governance
• Data Quality

• Self-Service Analytics
• Experience in business process mapping, gap analysis, data analysis, and requirements elicitation.
• Advanced SQL querying skills.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and project delivery frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
