Drive Data-Driven Decision Making in Transaction Banking

We are looking for an experienced Senior BI Data Scientist to join an international data and analytics team responsible for transforming complex financial data into strategic business insights.

In this role, you will bridge Business, Finance, Operations, and Data teams, designing analytical models and BI solutions that improve product performance monitoring, revenue analysis, forecasting, and executive decision-making.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and analytical solutions.
• Build and improve product revenue estimation and forecasting models.
• Analyze large datasets from multiple internal sources.
• Reconcile product revenue with Finance reporting.
• Monitor product and client performance indicators.
• Perform variance analysis between forecasted and actual revenues.
• Detect anomalies and support investigation processes.
• Deliver actionable insights for business decision-making.
• Collaborate with Business, Finance, Operations, and Data Engineering teams.
• Automate manual reporting processes and reduce Excel dependency.
• Improve reporting workflows through scalable and version-controlled solutions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across analytics and reporting.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
• 4–6+ years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Engineering.
• Experience in commercial environments such as Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, SaaS, or E-commerce.
• Strong SQL skills (Microsoft SQL Server preferred).
• Advanced experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience working with Dataiku or Alteryx (preferred).
• Strong understanding of data modelling and analytical reporting.
• Experience building performance dashboards and KPI monitoring solutions.
• Knowledge of revenue analysis and financial performance management.
• Experience working with multiple structured data sources.
• Knowledge of AI or Large Language Model (LLM) tools is considered a plus.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Comfortable working in Agile environments.
