The Opportunity

The role of the Chief Transformation and Technology Office (CTTO) is to vision, lead, transform, digitise, and deliver a transformational capability that enables Ireland’s power system and market to meet the targets for 2030 and beyond.

We now have a new and exciting opportunity for an IT PMO Senior Analyst role who will report to the Business Planning, Compliance, and Risk Manager, to join EirGrid.

The IT PMO Senior Analyst plays a key role in supporting the development, coordination, and governance of the annual business planning cycle, performance tracking, and enterprise reporting for risk and regulatory compliance. The role provides high‑quality analytical, reporting and organisational support to the Business Planning, Risk \& Compliance Team Lead, and works closely with CTTOO Directors and Heads of Function to prepare reports, presentations, and committee packs for senior governance forums, including the Investment Committee, Audit \& Risk Committee, Group Regulation, and the EirGrid Board.

This position is critical in ensuring that planning, performance, and compliance information is accurate, timely, well‑structured, and aligned with governance requirements.

The role reports to the Business Planning, Risk, and Compliance manager, who is centrally responsible in managing and tracking the yearly business planning activities across CTTOO and is a central point of contact and coordinator with group regulation, risk, and group internal audit. The team is also responsible to engage and work closely with the regulator and Chief Secretary for required board approvals.

Key Responsibilities* Assist in the coordination and production of the annual business plan across the CTTOO organisation. * Support consolidation of inputs from directors, heads of function, and delivery teams. * Track progress against the business plan throughout the year, preparing variance commentary, risk insights, and performance updates. * Maintain planning templates, timelines, and guidance material. * Work with Directors and Heads of Function to ensure high‑quality reports and presentation packs are put together for approval at the Investment Committee, Audit and Risk Committee, Group Regulation, Internal Audit, Risk and Legal function, and EirGrid Board. * Assist with maintaining the CTTOO risk register and ensuring alignment with enterprise risk processes. * Track risk mitigation actions, ensuring updates are collected and documented. * Support compliance activities by preparing evidence, responses, and documentation for regulatory, audit, and assurance reviews. * Build strong working relationships with CTTOO Directors, Heads of Function, and support teams. * Coordinate input requests and maintain clear communication around requirements, timelines, and expectations. * Provide administrative and logistical support for governance meetings and planning workshops. * Prepare dashboards, KPIs, and performance summaries related to business planning, risks, and compliance. * Consolidate and validate input data from multiple functions. * Support the development of regular reporting cycles (monthly, quarterly, annual). * Identify inconsistencies, omissions, and trends, escalating as required. * Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, templates, and planning processes. * Contribute to developing toolkits, standards, and procedural documents. * Support lessons learned exercises following planning cycles, audits, and committee submissions.

About You* Experience in a planning, reporting, governance, or PMO type support role. * Strong skills in preparing structured, accurate, and visually clear reports and presentation packs. * Excellent organisation and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. * Strong analytical capability and attention to detail. * Ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders. * High proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and ideally SharePoint/Teams.
