Permanent, Part Time Security Guard - Invercargill Central Mall - retail environment

We are looking for:

Someone who can work on a permanent, part time basis for the below position:
Payrate \= $26.00/hour x 16 hours/week

Security Guard

Friday and Saturday

4pm-12 midnight

\= 16 hours/week, other shifts may become available from time to time.

Millennium are the proud Security and Commercial Cleaning contractor at Invercargill Central Mall - we are seeking to appoint an experienced Guard, someone with integrity, accountability and initiative.

You will be required to have your Certificate of Approval (not negotiable) and preferably a current First Aid Certificate for this prestigious site.

You must be fit and healthy to patrol the site interior and exterior, be visible to customers and retailers and be accountable for your actions. De-escalation and communication are priorities, along with good presentation and a 'can do' attitude.

You must be contactable by phone and email.
All equipment, uniform and ongoing training provided.
Security reports and inbox maintenance.

A successful applicant will need the following:

• Be able to work unsupervised in a security conscious environment.
• Pass a Ministry of Justice Criminal History Check.
• Have a current COA.
• Preferrably a current First Aid Certificate.
• Have valid working rights in New Zealand before applying.
