JAW Security Group is seeking a reliable and professional Mobile Security Patrol Officer to join our growing patrol operations across Grafton and the Clarence Valley.

This position offers a consistent weekend night roster and is well suited to a licensed security officer looking for regular ongoing work.

Roster

• Friday: 6:30pm – 4:00am
• Saturday: 6:30pm – 4:00am
• 1-hour unpaid break each shift
• Approximately 17 paid hours per week

Additional shifts may become available across patrols, alarm response, static guarding, events and other JAW Security Group operations.

About the Role

As a Mobile Security Patrol Officer, you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled and random patrols across a range of client sites throughout the Clarence Valley.

Duties will include:

• Mobile security patrols
• Building lock-ups and unlocks
• Internal and external premises inspections
• Staff escorts
• Car park and perimeter patrols
• Alarm response and attendance
• Responding to control room and client requests
• Identifying and reporting suspicious activity, hazards, damage and security breaches
• Completing accurate electronic patrol and incident reports
• Maintaining regular radio and communications contact
• Liaising professionally with clients, members of the public and emergency services when required
• Maintaining company patrol vehicles and operational equipment

Essential Requirements

Applicants must:

• Hold a current NSW Class 1A Security Licence
• Hold a current Australian Driver Licence
• Be available to work both Friday and Saturday night shifts
• Be reliable, punctual and professionally presented
• Have strong communication and written reporting skills
• Be comfortable working independently during overnight shifts
• Be capable of making sound decisions in operational situations
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and customer service

Highly Regarded

The following will be viewed favourably:

• Previous mobile patrol or alarm response experience
• Baton and handcuff qualifications or licence endorsements
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Experience using two-way radio communications
• Experience with electronic patrol and reporting systems
• Knowledge of Grafton and the wider Clarence Valley
