Safeguard the property of the hotel and be responsible for the safety and protection of visitors and employees within the building. To monitor and administer all aspects of the FCC including Access Control, CCTV, Intercoms, Lift Controls, and Fire Command Panel.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that all the regulations of the hotel affecting the security of its property and the property of employees are carried out.
- Perform duties in compliance with company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all emergency fire procedures and safety regulations of the hotel are observed.
- Always be alert to all safety issues and follow instructions with utmost responsibility to avoid unwanted accidents
- Alert for fire hazards and other defects that are in need of immediate attention.
- Monitor surveillance cameras for any suspicious activity.
- To operate and respond to all aspects of Control Room Operation including emergency response i.e. Fire and emergency alarm system
- Respond to alarm activations, verify causes (false alarm vs. real threat), and escalate when needed
- To operate, monitor, evaluate and maintain CCTV systems.
- Monitor the Fire Alarm systems and pass on via radio or telephone any information necessary for the safety and security
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other people to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Warn people of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary
- To give protection to hotel guests from being threatened by other parties
- Respond to individual guest needs and concerns, escort guests as needed.
- Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized people.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Patrol the company premises and car park to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or infraction of rules
- Clocking is carried out as per instruction & procedures.
- Ensure all fire equipment is in good condition.
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,100.00 per month
