Security Guard – Construction Site Job Responsibilities
- Control and monitor entry and exit of workers, visitors, contractors, and vehicles at the construction site.
- Verify identification, gate passes, and authorization documents before allowing access to the site.
- Conduct regular patrols of the construction site to prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and trespassing.
- Monitor and safeguard construction materials, tools, equipment, machinery, and company assets.
- Maintain records of visitors, deliveries, vehicle movements, and security incidents.
- Inspect vehicles entering and leaving the site when required and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Monitor CCTV systems and security equipment and report any suspicious activities immediately.
- Ensure all site gates, fences, and access points remain secure during and after working hours.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, accidents, fire alarms, security breaches, and other incidents.
- Assist in the implementation of site emergency response and evacuation procedures.
- Report unsafe conditions, security risks, and violations of site rules and regulations to management.
- Ensure workers and visitors comply with site security requirements and access control procedures.
- Coordinate with site management, HSE personnel, and emergency services when necessary.
- Prevent unauthorized removal of company property, materials, or equipment from the site.
- Prepare daily security reports and maintain accurate records of all security-related activities.
- Monitor site activities during non-working hours, weekends, and public holidays to ensure site security.
- Provide assistance and directions to visitors, suppliers, and contractors as required.
- Perform any other security-related duties assigned by the Security Supervisor, Project Manager, or Management.
