Project Summary
We are establishing a new information security practice to ensure a coordinated response to the increasing threat of cybersecurity, enabling consistent decision-making across the organization. The engagement focuses on deploying Qualys Software Composition Analysis and DeepScan capabilities across existing Qualys agents, validating deployment prerequisites, leveraging the Qualys Guard platform for dashboarding and reporting, and producing structured documentation and reporting frameworks aligned with deployment and process updates.
Main Responsibilities \& Key Activities
Deploy Qualys VMDR DeepScan and SCA capabilities across existing Qualys agent infrastructure
Validate and document prerequisites (agent versions, configurations, and related elements)
Operate the Qualys Guard platform including dashboarding, reporting, external connectors, and APIs
Produce Confluence documentation aligned with deployment activities and process updates
Design and deliver architecture diagrams reflecting integrations and workflows
Build and deliver report analysis outputs based on collected data
Define and enhance KPIs, metrics, and trend analysis for vulnerability management activities
Experience Required
Mandatory Experience
Operational knowledge and hands-on experience with the Qualys platform (VMDR, DeepScan, SCA, Guard)
Experience with vulnerability management tools (e.g. Kenna, Nexpose, Tenable, Qualys)
Demonstrated experience executing technical deployments within security environments
Expertise in dashboarding, reporting, and KPI/metrics definition for vulnerability management
Experience producing structured technical documentation and architecture artifacts
Expertise in data handling and API manipulation
Scripting experience using PowerShell and Python
Preferred Experience
Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
Knowledge of Identity Management concepts including authorization, authentication, and segregation of duties
Knowledge of data security best practices
