Seasonal Content Creator & Social Media Coordinator Carnival Company

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly creative and outgoing Content Creator \& Social Media Coordinator to capture behind-the-scenes moments, event setups, ride operations, team culture, customer reactions, and create engaging short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook.

This is NOT a corporate office marketing role.

We want someone who:

• understands TikTok culture
• enjoys filming fast-paced events
• can create fun and engaging content quickly
• loves storytelling and social media trends
• is comfortable working around live events and entertainment

Responsibilities

• Film behind-the-scenes content at events
• Capture ride setups, event transformations, and crew moments
• Create TikTok and Instagram Reel content
• Edit short-form videos for social media
• Post and schedule content consistently
• Follow social media trends and viral formats
• Record customer reactions and event highlights
• Film owner/team personality content
• Create engaging captions and hooks
• Help grow our TikTok and Instagram presence
• Organize and store content files
• Travel to events throughout Manitoba and surrounding areas

Requirements

• Experience creating TikTok/Reels content
• Comfortable filming with iPhone or camera equipment
• Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Canva, Premiere Pro, etc.)
• Creative personality with strong social media awareness
• Must be reliable and organized
• Comfortable working weekends and events
• Must be able to travel for events
• Must have transportation or reliable way to get to events
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments
• Photography/video experience is an asset but not required
