Scrum Master

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Scrum Master to lead Agile project teams within a fast-paced enterprise software environment. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile practices, ensure smooth project execution, and foster collaboration across cross-functional teams. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies including Scrum, SAFe, and Waterfall. The Scrum Master will be instrumental in driving project success from requirements gathering through implementation, ensuring adherence to SDLC standards and organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and review meetings to promote Agile best practices.
• Remove impediments to team progress and shield the team from external disruptions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to manage backlogs and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable user stories.
• Track project progress using tools such as Jira, TFS, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Visio.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC processes and PMBOK guidelines throughout project lifecycle.
• Lead release management activities and oversee deployment processes in cloud environments such as AWS.
• Promote continuous improvement through test-driven development, user acceptance testing, and quality assurance practices.
• Support disaster recovery planning and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and high performance within the team.
• Provide leadership in program management initiatives and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar project management role within enterprise software development.
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS; familiarity with databases like SQL and Oracle is preferred.
• Proficiency in project management tools including Jira, Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, TFS, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and Microsoft Teams.
• Solid understanding of SDLC processes, requirements gathering techniques, analysis skills, and user acceptance testing procedures.
• Excellent leadership capabilities with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder engagement and team facilitation.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or PMP are highly desirable.

Pay: $67,693.99-$120,073.87 per year
