Job Summary
As a Medical Sales Representative/ Hospital Sales Representative, your key tasks include:
- Developing and managing sales opportunities within existing accounts while actively expanding the customer base across hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies.
- Achieving and exceeding ambitious sales targets aligned with company objectives.
- Conducting regular visits to healthcare professionals—doctors, pharmacists, purchasers, and nursing staff—to build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships.
- Delivering compelling product presentations and ensuring accurate, up-to-date product knowledge for healthcare stakeholders.
- Facilitating effective communication between customers and internal teams regarding orders, feedback, and market insights.
- Driving product utilization, encouraging repeat purchases, and identifying growth opportunities within assigned territories.
- Monitoring competitor activities, pricing, and market trends, and providing actionable insights to the management team.
- Maintaining and updating customer databases for accuracy and relevance.
- Preparing and submitting monthly sales reports, forecasts, and call plans promptly.
- Participating in medical events, conferences, and seminars to enhance brand presence and networking.
- Collaborating closely with the Marketing Team and immediate supervisor during field activities.
- Supporting market research initiatives for both existing and new product development.
Qualification \& Experience
Applications are invited from interested candidates who meet the following criteria:
- 1–3 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or medical industry.
- Must possess a valid driving license and be willing to travel within West Malaysia.
- Minimum qualification: Diploma or Degree in Science or a related field (or equivalent).
Skills \& Knowledge
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven, with strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. You should have confident presentation abilities, excellent teamwork, and time management skills, along with experience in sales planning, territory management, and forecasting. A natural ability to build relationships, coupled with a service-oriented mindset and independence, will set you apart in this role.
