Sales Project Delivery Lead (SPDL)

Location: Shannon, Co. Clare

About the Role

A-techSYN is seeking a Sales Project Delivery Lead to manage the day-to-day delivery of customer projects and act as the primary coordination point between customers, internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will take ownership of project planning, coordination, progress tracking, stakeholder engagement, and delivery reporting across multiple projects, ensuring activities remain aligned and deliverables are achieved.

This role is suited to someone with experience in project delivery, operations, or customer-facing environments who is ready to take ownership of project coordination, stakeholder management, and delivery activities.

You will work closely with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and commercial teams to ensure projects remain on track and customer expectations are met.

In addition to project delivery, you will contribute to business development, partnership opportunities, and funding initiatives that support A-techSYN's growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery \& Coordination

  • Own the day-to-day management and coordination of assigned projects.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and delivery trackers.
  • Coordinate activities across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, logistics, and commercial teams.
  • Monitor project performance and ensure actions, deliverables, and deadlines are achieved.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
  • Drive projects forward through regular stakeholder engagement and follow-up.
  • Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and delivery updates.
  • Escalate significant risks, issues, or resource constraints to the Programme Manager.

Customer Management

  • Act as the primary project contact for customers during project delivery.
  • Lead project meetings, progress reviews, and delivery updates.
  • Ensure customer requirements, deliverables, and expectations are clearly understood and managed.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support the successful delivery of demonstrations, reviews, and customer acceptance activities.

Commercial \& Opportunity Development

  • Identify opportunities for follow-on work, partnerships, and future projects.
  • Support the preparation of proposals, project plans, and business cases.
  • Conduct research into markets, competitors, customers, and growth opportunities.
  • Contribute to strategic projects and business development initiatives.

Funding \& Innovation Activities

  • Identify and evaluate relevant national and European funding opportunities.
  • Coordinate inputs required for grant applications and innovation proposals.
  • Maintain visibility of funding opportunities, deadlines, and submission activities.
  • Support project reporting requirements associated with funded programmes.

Governance \& Reporting

  • Maintain project documentation, action logs, risk registers, and stakeholder records.
  • Ensure project information is accurate, current, and accessible.
  • Provide regular reporting to the Programme Manager and senior stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery processes and tools.

About You

You are someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and coordinating people and activities to achieve results.

You are comfortable working with customers, technical teams, and senior stakeholders, and you have the confidence to challenge, follow up, and drive progress where required.

Essential

  • 2–5 years' experience in project management, project delivery, operations, programme coordination, or a similar role.
  • Strong planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience coordinating activities across multiple teams.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and project tracking tools.

Desirable

  • Experience managing customer-facing projects.
  • Experience working in engineering, manufacturing, technology, aerospace, defence, or related sectors.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with proposals, business cases, funding programmes, or innovation projects.
