Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership
- Develop, implement, and oversee strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
- Lead by example to inspire the sales team in achieving individual and collective targets.
- Identify key market segments and business opportunities to enhance market share.
Business Development
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and event planners to generate business.
- Identify and pursue new revenue streams through proactive sales initiatives.
- Conduct sales calls, client meetings, site inspections, and presentations to showcase the hotel’s unique offerings.
Account Management
- Manage a portfolio of high-value accounts, ensuring consistent communication and relationship-building.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize revenue and meet client needs.
- Analyze account performance and develop strategies to address revenue shortfalls.
Collaboration and Coordination
- Work closely with other departments, including Events, F\&B, and Front Office, to ensure seamless service delivery for client bookings and events.
- Provide timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses to the Director of Sales \& Marketing.
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the brand.
Client Experience:
- Ensure top-tier service delivery to clients, addressing inquiries, and resolving concerns promptly.
- Gather and analyze client feedback to drive continuous improvement in service quality.
Team Development:
- Mentor and coach junior sales staff, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team environment.
- Support recruitment and onboarding of new sales team members, ensuring alignment with the hotel’s culture and goals.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive sales experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Comprehensive knowledge of market trends, competitor analysis, and sales techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel sales systems.
Other Requirements:
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Proficiency in Bahasa \& English (additional languages are an advantage).
