Responsible for generating revenue for Laga Lutut Podcast across three main channels: sponsorship, guest booking, and book sales. This role combines business development, relationship management, and sales execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sponsorship Sales
- Prospect and reach out to potential brands/sponsors
- Present rate card and pitch sponsorship packages
- Negotiate and close deals (episode-based, bundle, or capped freemium model)
- Manage sponsor relationships and post-episode follow-up
2. Guest Booking & Management
- Source and approach potential guests aligned with the podcast's niche (wealth/personal finance, business, health)
- Manage communication, recording schedules, and guest logistics
- Keep the guest pipeline full for upcoming episodes
3. Book Sales
- Drive sales strategy for 4 published books (Rahsia Jualan Tujuh Angka, 99 Strategi Pemasaran, Jutawan AI, Deepseek Millionnaire) and an upcoming title (Menjadi Supermanusia)
- Set up and manage sales channels for the books (e.g. WhatsApp, social media, marketplace platforms) from scratch
- Explore bundle offers with sponsorship or other digital products
4. Reporting
- Track and report weekly/monthly revenue for each channel
- Recommend strategy improvements based on performance data
Requirements
- Experience in sales/business development, preferably in media, podcast, or content industry
- Confident communicator in both Bahasa Malaysia and English
- Comfortable with cold outreach and consistent follow-up
- Organized — able to manage multiple pipelines simultaneously (sponsors, guests, sales)
- Result-driven, comfortable working toward revenue targets
Compensation Structure
- Base: RM1,000–RM1,500 per month
- Plus commission based on closed deals (sponsorship % and book sales %)
