SALES EXECUTIVE - Plywood, Laminates & Interior Material Products

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Executive – Plywood \& Laminate Products to join our team in Miri, Sarawak.

In this full-time position, you will be responsible for promoting and introducing our range of plywood, laminates and interior material products to interior designers, renovation contractors, carpenters, furniture manufacturers and project clients.

You will develop new business opportunities, maintain strong customer relationships and expand our market presence throughout Sarawak and Sabah.

What you’ll be doing

• Identify and develop new customers within the interior design, renovation, construction and furniture industries
• Introduce and promote our plywood, laminate and interior material product ranges
• Prepare quotations, product presentations and sales proposals
• Follow up on enquiries, samples, quotations and confirmed orders
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Monitor market trends, customer demand and competitor activity
• Achieve individual and team sales targets
• Provide professional customer service and after-sales support
• Travel within Sarawak and Sabah to develop new business opportunities

What we’re looking for

• Minimum two years of experience in sales, business development or account management
• Experience in plywood, laminates, building materials, furniture, renovation or construction is preferred
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Confident in approaching new customers and developing business relationships
• Able to work independently and manage customer follow-ups effectively
• Target-driven, proactive and willing to conduct regular customer visits
• Able to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
• Possess own transport and a valid driving licence
• Willing to travel within Sarawak and Sabah when required
• Diploma or degree in sales, marketing, business or a related field is an advantage
