Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, result-oriented, and highly motivated Sales Executive to join our expanding Merchant Acquiring team. This is a full-time, high-impact field sales role focusing on the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, meeting, and onboarding merchants, understanding their consumer payment challenges, and delivering tailor-made payment acceptance solutions.
As a Sales Executive, you will act as the face of our brand in the market, driving business growth by offering a comprehensive suite of payment solutions, including Point of Sale (POS) terminals, digital Payment Gateways, and QR Code payment infrastructures. Key Responsibilities
- Merchant Prospecting \& Acquisition: Identify and proactively hunt for new SME merchant business opportunities through extensive daily field visits, cold calling, and localized market mapping.
- Needs Assessment: Meet face-to-face with business owners, retail managers, and decision-makers to evaluate their operational requirements for accepting customer payments.
- Solution Selling: Present, cross-sell, and close deals using our diverse ecosystem of products, including Android POS terminals, high-conversion E-commerce Payment Gateways, and static/dynamic QR code solutions.
- Relationship Management: Build and sustain excellent rapport with merchants, ensuring seamless onboarding, technical setup liaison, and post-sales engagement to drive processing volume.
- Target Achievement: Meet and exceed weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), focusing on the number of active terminals deployed, transaction volumes, and revenue targets.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on competitor product offerings, commercial pricing structures, and emerging fintech trends within the local SME ecosystem to pitch effectively.
Requirements \& Qualifications
- Field Experience: Proven, full-time outdoor or field sales experience directly interacting with business owners.
- Industry Background: Direct experience in Merchant Acquiring (Fintech/Banking), Credit Card sales, or SME Loan processing is highly preferred.
- Product Knowledge: Basic understanding of payment processing structures, digital wallets, merchant discounts rates (MDR), and POS hardware functionality is a major advantage.
- Mandatory Prerequisite: Must possess a valid and clean Driving License. Candidates without a license will not be considered for shortlisting.
- Skills: Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal communication skills. Self-motivated with the resilience needed to excel in a target-driven environment.
