The Opportunity

We are hiring our first dedicated Sales Executive. This is a ground-floor opportunity to join a growing logistics business at a critical stage and directly shape its commercial trajectory.

You will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new B2B freight clients across Australia. You will build relationships with operations managers, procurement heads, and business owners who ship freight regularly — and you will position Pulse Global Logistics as the freight partner they have been looking for.

This is not a role for someone who needs a warm pipeline handed to them. This is a role for a self-starter who is energised by the hunt, confident in front of decision-makers, and genuinely excited by logistics and supply chain.

What You Will Do

· Identify and prospect B2B freight opportunities across target industries including manufacturing, e-commerce, food and beverage, retail, pharmaceuticals, and construction

· Conduct outreach via Eurostaffs, email, phone, and in-person visits to generate qualified leads

· Conduct discovery calls and free consultations to understand prospect freight needs and pain points

· Prepare and deliver competitive freight quotes (turnaround target: under 24 hours)

· Own the full sales cycle from first contact to signed agreement

· Maintain accurate pipeline records and provide regular updates on progress

· Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless client onboarding

· Represent Pulse Global Logistics at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities

· Contribute to shaping the sales process and strategy as the business scales

What We Are Looking For

· 1+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in freight, logistics, transport, or supply chain, we will consider fresh graduates who have the willingness to get the job done.

· Proven track record of winning new business from cold outreach through to close

· Understanding of the Australian freight market and the challenges businesses face in moving goods would be an advantage

· Excellent communication skills — you can speak the language of an operations manager and a business owner alike

· Comfortable working independently and managing your own time in a remote-first environment

· CRM experience and disciplined pipeline management

· A consultative selling style — you ask great questions and listen before you pitch

· Genuine enthusiasm for logistics as an industry

Bonus points for:

· Experience selling multimodal freight solutions (road, rail, sea, air)

· Knowledge of hazmat, perishables, or oversized cargo requirements

· Existing network of freight decision-makers across Australian industries

· Familiarity with TransVirtual or similar freight management platforms

Pay: $25.00 – $32.00 per hour
