Sales Director

About the Role and Team

We are seeking a Sales Director to join our Revenue \& Operations team in Madrid, Spain. Reporting directly to the Country Manager, this is a senior individual contributor role designed for an accomplished sales professional who thrives on winning new business, building strategic client relationships, and driving revenue growth.

The position is centered around business development, customer acquisition, and commercial impact, making it an excellent opportunity for experienced Sales Managers and senior sales professionals ready to take the next step in their career. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for securing new, profitable customers for Adform, targeting medium to large advertisers, agencies, publishers, and retail media businesses across local and international markets.

You will build trusted relationships with prospective clients, confidently position Adform's buy-side solutions with the support of our Pre-Sales team, and leverage your knowledge of ad serving and advertising technology ecosystems, including DSPs and DMPs. Working in a highly dynamic and competitive market, you will manage complex sales opportunities, identify growth potential, and help accelerate Adform's continued commercial success.

• Prospect and convert leads by attending industry events, networking, and identifying opportunities.
• Plan and execute a sales strategy to build a pipeline and win new customers, achieving sales targets.
• Manage opportunities and map stakeholders prior to onboarding.
• Translate client needs into Adform products, negotiating win-win value for both Adform and the customer.
• Gather competitor intelligence to highlight Adform's unique selling points and create valuable differentiation.
• Maintain healthy sales velocity and a strong pipeline.
• Keep accurate, real-time records in Salesforce.
• Deliver high-quality handovers to account management colleagues.

• 10+ years of relevant experience in a sales position, with minimum 5 years of experience selling advertising technology or media.
• Strong Financial Acumen.
• Proficiency in Salesforce (or equivalent opportunity management tool) with a track record of maintaining diligent records
• A proven track record of success and the ability to manage a complex sales process to closure.
• Comfort in selling and pitching across various verticals.
• Ability to sell alongside or in partnership with Global Holding Group Agency and other key Adform partners.
• A constant desire to improve, staying engaged in a feedback loop with your coach (Manager).
• Stage speaking experience, and strong public speaking skills.
• Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and present effectively.
