We are a growing company specializing in material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet trucks, pallet stackers, and related warehouse equipment. We also provide repair, maintenance, and service support to customers across various industries.

Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and organized Sales Coordinator to join our team. The Sales Coordinator will act as the operational backbone of the sales department by supporting sales activities, managing customer inquiries, processing orders, coordinating logistics, and assisting with repair and maintenance service requests.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, supporting a sales team, and helping drive business growth. The position offers a base salary plus commission, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to grow their income based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow up with customers on quotes, orders, service requests, and outstanding opportunities.
  • Process sales orders, purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation.
  • Coordinate equipment delivery, pickup, rental, repair, and maintenance schedules.
  • Support after-sales service by following up with customers and helping resolve issues.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend suitable equipment, parts, repair, or maintenance solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular follow-ups, phone calls, emails, and in-person visits.
  • Visit existing customers to follow up on equipment needs, repair/maintenance requirements, and future purchasing plans.
  • Visit potential customers to introduce the company’s products and services and explore new business opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous experience in sales coordination, customer service, administration, or inside sales is preferred.
  • Experience in forklifts, material handling equipment, warehouse equipment, automotive, machinery, or repair service industries is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, technicians, and internal team members.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer requests, orders, and schedules at the same time.
  • Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office, Excel, and business software.
  • Strong follow-up skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and support revenue growth.
  • Reliable, responsible, and willing to learn about forklifts, pallet trucks, pallet stackers, parts, and repair services.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to customer sites when needed

Compensation

  • Base salary plus commission.
  • Commission opportunities are based on sales performance, customer development, and company policy.
