RORO Bin Lorry Driver – Full-Time / Part-Time
Job Requirements
- Malaysian citizen or legally authorised to work in Malaysia.
- Must possess a valid GDL driving licence.
- Previous experience driving RORO bin lorries, hook-lift trucks or other heavy commercial vehicles is preferred.
- Familiar with road safety regulations and safe lorry operating procedures.
- Able to perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical or safety issues.
- Responsible, punctual, disciplined and able to manage working schedules properly.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to communicate and follow instructions from supervisors and customers.
- Physically able to carry out the duties required for bin collection and transportation.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends or public holidays when required.
- Must have a good driving record and demonstrate safe driving behaviour.
- Must take proper care of the assigned lorry and maintain its cleanliness.
Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate a RORO bin lorry to collect and deliver bins.
- Transport bins to designated customer locations, disposal sites or collection points.
- Load, secure and unload RORO bins using the vehicle’s hook-lift system.
- Complete collections and deliveries according to the assigned schedule.
- Conduct basic daily checks on tyres, brakes, lights, fluids and other vehicle components.
- Ensure all bins and equipment are properly secured before driving.
- Follow company procedures, traffic regulations and workplace safety requirements.
- Maintain the cleanliness and condition of the assigned lorry.
- Immediately report accidents, vehicle damage, delays or operational problems.
- Record completed trips, collections and deliveries when required.
