Job Description

Job Summary

The Revenue Distribution Analyst is responsible for maximizing hotel revenue through effective pricing, inventory management, distribution strategy, OTA optimization, and e-commerce performance. The role ensures that room rates, availability, and promotions are accurately maintained across all sales channels while analyzing market trends and providing recommendations to improve occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and direct bookings.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Management

  • Monitor daily occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, pickup, and pace.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue forecasts.
  • Recommend pricing strategies based on demand, seasonality, and competitor analysis.
  • Manage room inventory and booking restrictions to maximize revenue.
  • Analyze historical trends and booking patterns to identify revenue opportunities.

Distribution Management

  • Manage all distribution channels, including:
  • Hotel Website
  • OTAs (Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, Airbnb, etc.)
  • Channel Manager
  • GDS (where applicable)
  • Wholesale partners
  • Ensure rate parity and inventory accuracy across all channels.
  • Maintain room mapping, restrictions, packages, and promotions.
  • Resolve channel connectivity issues with system providers.

OTA & E-commerce

  • Optimize hotel visibility and ranking on OTA platforms.
  • Manage OTA promotions and preferred partner campaigns.
  • Monitor OTA performance, conversion, and production.
  • Coordinate website booking offers with Marketing.
  • Support direct booking initiatives and website optimization.
  • Monitor online reputation and guest review scores where relevant to commercial performance.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare:
  • Daily Revenue Report
  • Weekly Forecast
  • Monthly Revenue Performance Report
  • Pickup Report
  • Pace Report
  • Channel Performance Report
  • Market & Competitor Analysis
  • Present findings and recommendations to the General Manager.

Systems Management

  • Maintain PMS, Channel Manager, CRS, and OTA extranets.
  • Ensure all room types, rates, restrictions, and packages are updated accurately.
  • Coordinate with system vendors to resolve technical issues.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Reservations, Front Office, Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Support promotional campaigns by ensuring correct pricing and availability.
  • Assist with the annual budget, business plan, and revenue forecast.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Revenue Management, Reservations, Distribution, E-commerce, or Commercial within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with hotel PMS, Channel Manager, OTA extranets, and revenue systems.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
