Job Summary

The Retail Associate is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, maintaining store presentation, processing sales transactions, and supporting the daily operations of the retail store. The role requires a customer-focused individual who can represent the company's brand professionally while ensuring an exceptional shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities1. Customer Service

  • Welcome and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assist customers with product enquiries and recommendations.
  • Provide accurate information on product features, pricing, promotions, and availability.
  • Build positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Handle customer complaints and enquiries professionally.

2. Sales

  • Achieve individual and store sales targets.
  • Promote current promotions, membership programmes, and new arrivals.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Maintain excellent product knowledge.

3. Cashier Operations

  • Process customer purchases using the POS (Point of Sale) system.
  • Handle cash, credit card, e-wallet, and other payment transactions accurately.
  • Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Issue receipts and process refunds or exchanges according to company policy.

4. Store Operations

  • Replenish stock on shelves and display areas.
  • Ensure merchandise is neatly displayed and organised.
  • Receive, unpack, and label new stock.
  • Conduct stock replenishment and stock transfers as required.
  • Participate in periodic stock counts and inventory checks.

5. Housekeeping

  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the sales floor, fitting rooms, and cashier area.
  • Ensure displays are attractive and comply with visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the Store Manager.

6. Inventory Management

  • Monitor stock levels and report low stock to the Store Manager.
  • Assist with stock receiving and inventory documentation.
  • Minimise stock loss and prevent theft.

7. Compliance

  • Follow company policies, SOPs, and retail operating procedures.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality.

8. Teamwork

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve store objectives.
  • Attend training sessions and staff meetings.
  • Support other team members during peak business periods.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
