Reservations Team Lead

We are have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Reservations Team Lead to join our existing team!

MAIN DUTIES

• To oversee the daily operations of the Reservations Department, ensuring maximum efficiency within the department and accuracy of work/tasks completed
• To handle incoming telephone calls and email enquiries for individual and group reservations
• To arrive on time for duty
• Ensure all reservations are entered accurately into the Property Management System
• To train \& support team members within the reservations function
• To handle guest queries, complaints and special requests efficiently and professionally
• To ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently delivered amongst the Reservations team
• To support with training colleagues in the Reservations/Front Office Teams
• To support the day-to-day running of the Reservations Department, focusing on transient reservations
• To support and guide the Front Office Team with reservations-related queries
• To monitor booking activity ensuring correct selling techniques and conversion amongst the Reservation team
• To maintain and update SOPs for Reservations Agents
• To ensure completion of all daily reservation tasks prior to department close
• To assist colleagues in the Reservations Team in a prompt and helpful manner
• To be flexible in assisting various departments in the hotel in response to business and clients' needs
• To maintain regular and effective communication within your team, and at all levels, to include attending briefing sessions when required
